They're skeptical about full traffic flow through the Strait before Friday. Europeans offered to help with demining but can only do that once a peace agreement is clear in their minds, which it is not.

Italy's PM Meloni says she won't be involved until there's a full agreement not just with Iran but also with Lebanon. There are also financial sanctions from the European side that the US is trying to remove.
