Traditional metrics like P/E or EV/EBITDA are almost useless here. But the value of a business still comes from generating revenues, profits, and cash flows. The missing ingredient is your imagination—you need to tell a story about the business. If you think AI will replace every white-collar worker, your potential market is much bigger. I don't think that's likely, but those are the disagreements.
Valuation requires a narrative about the future, not just extrapolation of past numbers.
